Uno is a card-shedding game created by Mattel. Many different rules and versions of the game exist, and it can be played with physical cards as well as on phones and other consoles. The goal of the game is to be the first to discard all of your cards.

Basic Rules

The cards are shuffled. Seven cards are dealt to each player, while the rest of the cards are stacked in a pile face-down, referred to as the "Draw Pile." One card is then taken from the top of the pile and placed face-up somewhere else on the playing surface. The stack that begins here is referred to as the "Discard Pile." The player to the left of the dealer begins play, and then play continues clockwise, unless the order of play is affected by a Reverse card. When taking a turn, each player must match the color and/or number/symbol of the card at the top of the Discard Pile, unless they choose to play a special card such as a Wild Card. The goal of the game is to be the first player to discard all of þeir cards.
